Items you have in the game will appear in your game inventory. In order to sell an item, you must withdraw the item from the game first.

A note on limitations for withdrawing items:

• Items that are currently equipped or are being used inside the game cannot be withdrawn
• Common items cannot be withdrawn because they are not NFTs
• Founding Characters will not be withdraw-able until January 2023. This is due to some pending technical constraints that The Beacon team us actively working to overcome.

Withdrawing an item from the game

1. Make sure the item you are trying to withdraw has no limitations at the moment

2. Navigate to your user profile in thebeacon.gg web app

   

3. From the inventory, click on the item you wish to withdraw and click “Withdraw” in the succeeding display windows

   

4. A transaction preview will appear in MetaMask asking you to confirm the transaction. Click “Confirm”.

   

5. After confirmation, your the item will be made available in your wallet. In the web app inventory view, a blue lock icon will display over the item indicating it is no longer accessible within the game. To make it accessible in-game, you will need to import it back into the game.

   

Now that the item is available in your wallet, you are free to do with it as you please. For instance, you may now list it on an NFT marketplace for sale.

Listing an item

For the following example, we will walk through the process of listing an item on the Trove marketplace, our preferred partner marketplace.
