Create an Account

1. Visit https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/.

2. In the top right corner, select your name.

   

3. Click on the Settings icon to change your avatar and click on register to set a password.

Create your Team

1. Navigate to Teambuilder and click on "New Team."

   

2. Choose [Gen 1] OU as the format.

   

   

3. Click "Add Pokemon" (Note: Mew, Mewtwo, and duplicate Pokémon are not allowed in this tournament).

4. After selecting a Pokémon, choose its attacks.

Note that the platform suggests the best moves!

1. After completing your first Pokémon, click on the "+" button at the top and proceed until you have all 6 Pokémon.

1. Once done, click on "Team" and press "Validate." Some attacks may not be available for this tournament, so always click "Validate" after finishing your setup.

This will happen if the attack is not valid for this tournament,
